My name is Brandon Dutton, and I’m the proud owner of DNA Heating & Air  and for me, HVAC isn’t just a job. It’s who I am. I’ve been in this trade since I was just a kid, helping my dad and grandfather with installs and service calls back in South Carolina. After school, I’d be sweeping up metal shavings, riding along in the service truck, or learning how to bend ductwork before I even knew what a thermostat did. This trade is literally part of my DNA, that’s why I named the company after it.

I officially entered the field in 2008, and I’ve never looked back. Since then, I’ve worked on thousands of systems from residential to commercial across Western New York and beyond. I’ve installed and serviced nearly every major HVAC brand out there, including:

 

• Carrier, Trane, Rheem, Goodman

• Lennox, York, and American Standard

• Mitsubishi Electric City Multi and Trane VRF systems

• Navien, Rinnai, and Noritz tankless water heaters

• Lochinvar, Weil-McLain, and Burnham boiler systems

• Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, and Scotsman commercial ice machines

I’ve completed advanced training through Carrier University, the Trane Comfort Specialist™ Program, and manufacturer specific certifications from Mitsubishi and more. I’ve been EPA certified since 2008, and I hold multiple commercial refrigeration and equipment credentials to back it all up.

One of the best investments I made in mastering the trade was spending two years with Palmetto Air & Water Testing, where I focused entirely on air and water balancing. That gave me a deep understanding of how airflow, pressure, and water dynamics affect comfort and performance in homes and buildings. It’s next-level knowledge that helps me fine-tune systems most people wouldn’t even know how to diagnose.

 

In 2019, I moved to Western New York, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This area has become home  not just where I live, but where I’ve planted roots and built this business. The people here are tough, honest, and hardworking,  just like the folks I grew up with. That’s the kind of community I want to serve, and I take a lot of pride in doing it right.
